BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- With the Mid-South Conference Tournament set to begin on Thursday in Bowling Green, the MSC office announced on Wednesday (April 7) the All-MSC team and honorees for the 2021 season.
Adrian Constant earned First Team All-Conference honors and Victor Bazzo was named Second Team, while Molaemakolukolu Liwis was named to the Champions of Character Team.
Adrian Constant, a senior from All-Saints, Antigua, carded All-Conference honors for the second time in his career after being named First Team All-MSC following the 2020 season.
Constant finished the season with 275 kills averaging 4.10 kills per set, while he also posted a .239 hitting clip. He also led Midway on the defensive end with 122 digs for an average of 1.82 digs per set. He served 18 aces and finished with a team-high 36 blocks in his senior campaign.
Offensively, Constant led the MSC in kills and ranked second in kills per set, while he ranked ninth in digs per set and tied for 10th in total digs.
Earning All-Conference honors for the third time in his career is Victor Bazzo. A sophomore from Gloria de Dourados, Brazil, Bazzo collected First Team honors in 2019 and then again in 2020 as he earned Second Team honors following his 2021 campaign.
Bazzo battled injuries throughout the season but finished the year with 88 kills for an average of 1.87 kills per set. He also served 19 aces and carded 81 digs averaging 1.72 digs per set.
Within the Mid-South, Bazzo finished the regular season ranking tied for 11th in service aces per set and 14th in digs per set.
Closing out the list of honors for the Eagles was Molaemakolukolu Liwis. The freshman from Keaukaha, Hawaii was named to the MSC Men's Volleyball Champions of Character Team.
The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Midway finished the regular season at 9-11 as they get set to battle top-seeded Campbellsville (Ky.) in their first game of the MSC Men's Volleyball Tournament on Thursday. First serve is set for 4 p.m. ET at Ephram White Park in Bowling Green.
