The final four minutes of regulation saw the Grenadiers go 0-5 from the floor as they scored just three points all coming from the charity stripe.

A pair of freebies by Miller cut the deficit in half before Cory Gardner (Owensboro, Ky.) connected on his second triple of the game to give Midway a brief 66-65 lead with 2:03 left.

Osbourne then went 3-of-4 from the free throw line as IU Southeast regained the 68-66 lead with under a minute to play. With 37 seconds left, Miller drove to the basket and tied the game on a layup before converting the and-one to give his team the lead for good.

After getting back-to-back stops on the defensive end, Miller received the ensuing inbound and knocked down two more to push Midway's lead to 71-68 with five seconds left. Osbourne got a three off at the buzzer, but his shot was off the mark as the Eagles held on for the 71-68 victory.
