MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - For the second time in her Midway career, Eagle outfielder
Ryann Berger was an all-conference selection, being named to the All-River States Softball Second Team.
A first-team honoree a season ago, Berger made across-the-board offensive improvements in 2025. She led the Eagles in hits (62) batting average (.388), runs (46), doubles (16) and slugging percentage (.544) while finishing second on the team with 29 RBIs.
Her run and double totals were second most in the conference.
As good as she was at the plate, Berger was even more dangerous on the base pads, as her 38 stolen bases were the 13th most in the NAIA. No one else in the RSC had more than 25 steals in the regular season.
She had a great year in the field as well, putting together a .971 fielding percentage with several highlight-reel plays, which included throwing a runner out at home to end the game
in a 2-0 win over Lindsey Wilson on March 27.
