Through two games, Carter is completing 66 percent of his passes and has thrown for 573 yards and seven touchdowns while rushing for 108 and another score. He is the first Eagle to win the MSFL offensive award.
Defensive Player of the Week honors went to Euell, who was all over the field Saturday, helping key the first shutout in program history.
He was credited for 11 tackles (seven solo), three tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception and a forced fumble.
Euell is the second Midway player to be named MSFL Defensive Player of the Week, joining former linebacker
