MIDWAY, Ky. - Like the Eagle men's team, Midway's women's tennis squad has been predicted to finish second in the River States Conference for the fourth year in a row.

In a poll released Wednesday, Midway earned 31 vote points and one first-place vote. The other six first-place votes went to Oakland City, the three-time defending conference champions, who had 36 points. The Mighty Oaks are currently ranked No. 22 in the NAIA.

Spots 3-7 went to Brescia (24 points), Indiana Southeast (21), Indiana Kokomo (14), Indiana East (13) and Shawnee State (8) respectively.

The 0-1 Eagles begin RSC play at home against Indiana Southeast on March 13.
