MIDWAY, Ky. - Midway had four players selected to the River States Women's Basketball All-Conference team on Thursday, with sophomore guard
A'Lyrica Hughes making the First Team for the
second year in a row.
She was joined by Second-Team selection
Morgan Cross and Third-Team honorees
Jacie Chesser and
Alexys Moore.
Hughes, a finalist for RSC Player of Year, continued to be one of the most well-rounded players in the league. She led the Eagles with 11.9 points per-game while recording an RSC-best 85 steals.
The sophomore from Owensboro also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists, both second on the team.
After only playing sparingly as a freshman, Cross had a breakout season in 2025-26, where she proved to be one of the top sixth players and on-ball defenders in the league.
The Goshen, Ind. native averaged 8.9 points and 4.0 rebounds while also making 42 steals and dishing 43 assists.
Chesser made the Third Team for the second year in a row. She averaged 9.3 points while leading the team with 5.5 rebounds per-game and 34 blocked shots.
Moore concluded an excellent freshman season at 11.8 points per-game while making a team-best 40 3-pointers.
