MIDWAY, Ky. - After clinching a return trip to nationals, Midway's Emerson VanScoy was rewarded with another River States Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week award on Monday.

An indoor All-American in both pole vault and high jump in the winter, VanScoy cleared the outdoor qualifying 'A' standard at the Northern Kentucky University Invitational on Saturday. She topped out at 3.80 meters, .02 meters higher than the minimum 'A' standard.

The junior from Teays Valley, W. Va. has been named RSC Field Athlete of the Week three times in her collegiate career, winning indoor honors on March 9 of this year and outdoor honors on March 24 of last year.

Midway returns to action on Friday at 10 a.m., when it takes part at the Centre Twilight meet in Danville, Ky.
