YPSILANTI, Mich. -- After making the individual cut for the second consecutive season,
Kasey Cameron advanced to Friday's final round of the 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
The sophomore, who became the first Midway golfer to make the individual cut multiple times at the national championship, carded a 9-over 81 in the final round to finish the 54-hole tournament with a total score of 236 (78-77-81).
Her three-round total was good enough for a tie for 36th place, marking the best finish by a Midway women's golfer at the NAIA National Championship. Cameron surpassed both Kathryn Lawler's finish at the
2017 national championship and
her own performance from last season.
The tournament capped another memorable season for Cameron.
In her first two seasons at Midway, Cameron has earned River States Conference Golfer of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors twice. She was also named the conference's Newcomer of the Year last season and has now made the individual cut at the NAIA National Championship in back-to-back years.
As a team, the 2025-26 campaign was another successful season for the Eagles.
Midway captured three tournament titles throughout the year, highlighted by its second consecutive River States Conference Championship just over two weeks ago. The conference title marked the seventh in program history.
The Eagles also recorded the best national championship finish in program history, tying for 19th place with a 36-hole total of 650 (321-329).
