Box Score MIDWAY, Ky . - Jalen Cincore's best day in an Eagle uniform wasn't enough Saturday, as Midway dropped its fourth straight game, losing 88-77 to Shawnee State at Marshall Gymnasium.
After being held to single-digit points for the first time all season in a loss to Point Park Thursday, Cincore, who played for Shawnee State last season, responded with an excellent, wire-to-wire performance, shooting 9-of-13 from the field and 11-of-12 from the foul line, finishing his day with a highlight-reel dunk with two minutes to play.
He was also able to get over the double-double hump for the first time after finishing with nine rebounds in five different games.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, the Bears got a dominant performance of their own from guard Chaze Harris.
An uber athletic guard with elite leaping ability, Harris sliced through the Eagle defense all day, finishing with 29 points. He did his most damage at the foul line, where he shot 13-of-15 for a Bear team that was 29-of-34 from the stripe on the day.
