SOUTH CHARLESTON, W. Va. - On the back of a record-breaking debut season with the Midway softball program,
Randi Delong has earned First-Team All-River States Conference honors, the league announced Thursday.
The sophomore first baseman ended the regular season leading the conference with 13 home runs, a .449 batting average and an .823 slugging percentage, while finishing third with 55 RBIs. Her batting average and RBI totals are the most by an Eagle player since at least 2007.
Delong also routinely performed great in the clutch. She had six game-tying or game-winning RBIs in the sixth inning or later during the season, while also recording three game-tying or game-winning home runs in the seventh.

Breanna Beach. Beach led the Eagles with seven wins and a 4.06 ERA this season.
