MIDWAY, Ky. - Three members of the Midway men's and women's bowling teams earned Second-Team designation by the Mid-South Conference, the MSC announced Thursday afternoon.
Junior
Maggie Coleman and senior
Afton Lords were selected on the women's side, with sophomore
Charlie Smith earning the honor for the Eagle men.
Coleman and Lords opened the year in a second-place tie at the Bulldog Bash in October,
a tournament Midway won, and have continued to lead Midway throughout the fall and winter.
This is the the third All-Conference award earned by Lords, who made the
First-Team in 2024 and the
Second-Team in 2023. Coleman was also selected to the Second-Team last season.
Smith's nod came after a productive season highlighted by team-best finishes at the
Greater Nashville Open and
Thomas Burris Memorial Tournament, as well as a top-three overall finish in the opening round of the
Bowlero Southern Classic.
This is his first all-conference honor.
The Eagles will travel to Bowling Green for the MSC Team and Singles Championships this Thursday to Saturday.
Midway's women's team,
the tournament's runner-up last season, will be the No. 3 seed in team competition, while the men will be the No. 6.
