MIDWAY, Ky. - Two wins at the Morehead State Twilight on Friday earned Midway distance runner Carson Milner a River States Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award, the league announced Monday.

Milner ran a winning time of 1:56.77 in the 800-meter run, finishing ahead of multiple runners from NCAA Division-I schools. He also earned a win in the 4x400-meter relay, teaming with Josiah Kocis, Connor Messer and Steven Meyer to run a 3:30.87.

This marks the third time Milner has won an RSC weekly award. He was Outdoor Athlete of the Week on March 25, 2024 and Indoor Athlete of the Week on Jan. 6 of this year.

Milner is the third Eagle to win a weekly award this outdoor season.

Midway will now prepare for the postseason, as the River States Conference Outdoor Championships will be held in Rio Grande, Ohio this coming Friday and Saturday.
